for my senior year, i went with my friend because the girl that i wanted to take was busy. yes, i was interested in this girl, however things turned sour so i needed a date because i had paid for bids. so i went with my friend and i ended up having more fun and what not. she had a bf at the time and he was cool with it. we didn't end up at a hotel party or anything crazy.. just a chillaxed night with a group of friends.

Prom was fun ... I don't see how people could be too cool for it, but oh well ...

My senior prom, I went with my friend's older sister ... and she had a boyfriend ... a gangster boyfriend ... I saw him at a party and thought he'd want to beat my ass, but he approached me and said "wassup!" ... I guess I didn't pose much of a threat ...

...that and I didn't ask her to prom, she said "You're taking me to prom!" ...

I say, go for it if your boyfriend plays it cool like he is ... If he gets pissed internally, he's stupid for not mentioning it prior to the fact ...

Just because he said he didn't mind, doesn't mean he doesn't mind. Which can be a good thing, guys sometimes need to watch their jealous levels.

On the flipside, you better make sure nothing funny happens.

Go the prom, and come back.

Don't go to the post prom parties, that's asking for trouble.

I don't think you should be so worried about you boyfriend, as you should your "friend" who asked you to go with him.

Well, lets say the b/f says its allright. What about the other guy? make sure he doesnt get the wrong idea. Make sure he understands that you are just going as friends not as bf/gf.
