seriously? A kiss? My wife did a lot more as explained in another thread and most people here and everyone at another forum think I am a jerk for making a deal over it.
If you can't forgive a kiss you will never last in a real long term relationship. People make mistakes. This is a small one at best.

Some things are forgivable to some people sure, but you have to look at the reason why it led up to this first before you start forgiving them. If the issue is not resolved, it will happen again.

You are not a jerk, but IMO you should be responsible for the safety of your spouse when they are in a vulnerable state. When my husband ever got too drunk and started causing trouble, we went home. That's not controlling, that's taking care of business.
