Lol I seen it before. You might actually be getting prepped for a 3 way. Dude knows about it lets you get comfortable with her next thing you know he will be around more. It's a subtle way to draw you in to the idea because a lot of people aren't in to that.

Also, she went on a long roadtrip over the summer and told me she would "call you to let you know i get their safely!" She didn't (forgot?) but it was odd she said she would do that, IMO.

My plan was to go to dinner and just see how she acts when I casually ask her how her boyfriend is doing.

I really do hate the word flirt. Not the actual action though because the word just covers so much ground its hard to get the idea of what your talking about. Was it actually flirting or just talking. funny thing is all i can see playing in my head is the SNL skit three way.

I agree it's hard to tell sometimes, and honestly. a lot of males think any girl that isn't spitting on them is "flirting".

That said, it sure doesn't sound like she was discouraging the OP's attention.
