f*ck that shit... i myself had to learn the hard way that i "can" be a dick when i'm drunk.. but besides the point, i too have a friend like that. they can dish it out, but they can't take it.
what it will take to change this about him being your friend is basically to stop being friends with him. if that is too big of a task, sit his ass down and f*cking tell him straight up. no one will understand or listen better than a friend. if you have to, do it when he's sober and probably most open and POINT out his bads. when he tries to chance the subject, tell him that you and everyone else will point out this shit to him. people don't change instantly, but with time, they can change.. a little.
this is a hard thing to adjust to, believe me...
imo.. you still lost points with the missionary thing, but i'm here to help. haha.
