you should be grateful his ex was some woman old enough to be his mother. it wouldve been like a wizards sleeve, so hell be happier with you, im sure. as for his stories, you need to tell him to stfu. Theres nothing more tedious than a partner crying about their ex 24/24. The box is a different matter. This is none of your business if he keeps it, and it would be useful for you to have a look in when hes not there. There might be some funny letters/photos etc. You should have a peek.
