I used to think that, mainly when I was depressed. But not everybody likes to get drunk, feel out of control.

just to be social. i don't get drunk anymore...but it's nice to just drink with your friends. just feel a light buzz...and be social.

I've HEARD that "crystal meth" is a drug that can produce "instant" addiction. Anyone know if there's any truth to this??

Crystal Meth, along with coke as well.. Although I have never done Meth I have had friends that did it.

And yes, instant addict! Makes you crave more and more!

I dont get the point of wanting to get drunk. I got drunk once and I have to say that deadly diaria is more fun.

my speculation is that meth keeps you awake. if you do it one night, you do it ALL night. then if you have something to do during the day you have to do some more to keep you up during the day, then you can't go to sleep that night and it just all goes downhill from there. unlike other drugs (like cocaine) that you can sleep on.

of course i don't know from personal experience...

Yea I never got into meth either. I was told awhile back that all it does it keep you up all night long with no real buzz to it.

So as to how anyone can necessarily want to do that all the time I have no idea. Not that I'm saying other driugs are ok..but, well.....you know what I mean..

I smoked weed a grand total of three times, all in the same year. That's the only illegal thing I've really done, even though the pot laws here are so lax I could pretty much smoke it in front of a cop and all he'd do is take it away and give me a lecture.

Of course, I had my few years of ridiculous drunken debauchery. But no more. Too old.

This was almost an eye opener for me. At first I thought " WOW, some smart people on LF (other then me being smart) are doing crazy psychotic killing other people drugs?"...then I realized my mistake, smart people on LF other then me? hahahahaha... OV..I am such a kidder.

I think people who do meth should be shot, before they shoot someone else.
