so one of my many jobs is to coordinate meetings and get many people in one place at one time and everybody has a busy schedule.

so i set up a meeting, not everybody could attend but most could. i had two weeks to do this and i did my best.

now this other person thinks it's more wise to change the location and the date and the time. we have to have this meeting this week.

    jeez.
baby ya hustle. but me i hustle harder.

Don't you hate that? I hope you have a 3 month probation on her. I just got rid of one of those who stuck it out for nearly 9 months. You didn't ask, but early intervention advice: push her HARD the next few weeks. You might get lucky and she'll quit on her own. Good luck.

    Mis check your PM.

Seriously. I love going to work. It bothers me when people are miserable at work. I'm deliberately perky and it works for me. Smile, people or mbe you shouldn't be doing that job!

I'm fine with my job, frantically taking notes of a fast-paced programming tutorial for a deaf student over the course of 2 hours can be harsh some days (Caffeine helps), but apart from that most students are good peeps and the job supervisors are helpful.

There's a doctor in our hospital that steals food. A DOCTOR, for crying out loud!

eh, I guess I usually give the benefit of doubt, and think if they are taking, it's because they are having financial problems. But a DOCTOR?

Oh no. He/she took b/c she was hungry and too busy to go buy lunch like the rest of the working world. DOCTOR, afterall. Nothing to do with money, guaranteed.

I've never been able to look at communal refrigerators the same way since I remember the chick at the NIH who was spiking her co-workers lunches w/P32.

One of my admin. assistants is driving me insane!! She is soooo forgetful , has the shittiest short-term memory I've ever seen. And not just office P&P's but really important issues. For example: I was expecting a bank deposit from a foreign client, in order to make certain reservations, which also require a deposit. She was told to notify me AS SOON AS the bank deposit was made. I had put the reservations on hold, and called the client to find out about the deposit. Said client was furious, because he had made the deposit 4 DAYS AGO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She forgot to tell me! Now, in order to soothe the client we have to give him a HUGE discount on the trip, and will basically be doing it for cost, and client relations. What is most maddening is that this Asst. is a wonderful person. Generous, kind, very skilled, attractive, and presents the type of professional appearance that leaves a very good impression on clients. I can't afford to just have her do customer relations, I'm not that big of an outfit. This has gone on for quite some time. It is MAKING ME CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fire her. There are too many worthy people out of work right now for a bimbo like that to be taking home a paycheck.
