So then your still waiting around for her instead of moving on with your life. It is hard now, it doesn't mean it will stay that way!

Honestly, I believe everyone has one of those. By "those" I mean a long relationship that you always thought would work, then when it's over, you feel like you've either wated 3 years of your life, or you'll never find a relationship like that again.

And you know what? We all do find another. Just takes time; experience etc.

I always laugh when I see that. Most people are far from wealthy, but they still seem to get married. Obviously their wives weren't gold diggers.

My lab partner's husband is in the military, and he thinks she considers him nothing more than a paycheck. ahahahahahahahhahaaha - he barely makes any money at all!!

I was just going to say the military doesn't make that much at all. They get a pay increase if they are married but it's not much at all. Whihc is just wrong that they don't get paid more in the first place for what they do.

I can tell by the tone of your posts that you aren't over her.

3 week to get over someone?? No way.

There are not many things I fear in life, but disappointing you is my greatest.

I love you even with your flaws... I love you because of your flaws.

Ok ok you guys and girls always seem to be right. I guess it hasn't been enough time to get over her completly. But I have definately made a world of progress. I will keep trying. Thank you for the advice. And I will stay clear of the ex and not answer her e-mails for now.

I understand that she was a great 3 years of your life, as I experienced a similar situation, but keeping in contact when you aren't over her will hurt you time and time again. She playing games, and that's bullshit. If you talk to her again, which you shouldn't, do one thing, tell her to get ****in bent for pulling this shit.

So I blocked my ex from my Aol IM in an attempt to get her off my mind and prevent the possibility of having contact with her. Just as you guys haev suggested so that I can move on. Then this morning a get an e-mail from her, calling me immature for blocking her and throwing away three years of my life?? I am 23, in no way am I acting immature.

Sounds like she was pretty upset about it. But I don't think she understands that she is the one who threw so much away when she broke up with me.
I really want to be the better person in the end.

I figured it was better to avoid contact, rather than ignroing her IM messages.

Now I seem to have offended her....Ahhh....you can't win

You did the right thing, don't worry about it. Better that you did it this early, otherwise it would be a lot tougher later on.

Yeah, don't let what she says get to you. You are being mature in cutting contact.
