lol...well i guess you could say things have been progressing. He treats me like a princess and i don't have much to complain about. I'm not trying to get serious with anyone right now.

It's easy to say that if you grew up in an industrialized nation. Trying growing up in a culture where religion and tradition pervades life. When you've been told that something is right or true since birth, and everyone else believes in it and all your teachers and parents have been saying this since you were little, it's hard to believe otherwise.

actually i don't think you know what feminism is really about. feminism is not just all about women, that's why it got me interested. It's not just about empowering women around the world which is what most ppl think. It focuses on women because well there are more women than men on this planet yet females are the devalued gender. Feminists fight for equality when it comes to race, gender, and class. Anyone who says they have never been affected by sexism is full of shit. And i don't exactly consider myself a hardcore feminist.

No actually.....and well i think everyone's getting a little ahead of themselves, i'm not accusing anyone of anything nor am i trying to be accused of anything. This isn't a debate it's an open-minded discussion i'm trying to have.

Take for example the US is developed around a binary system, we are born and we are forced to become one or the other. And i'm talking about gender here and anything that falls into between is outcasted. But most people see this as normal when it clearly is not. It IS a system of oppression and guess what? nobody sees it cuz that's all you know.

actually i did a womens study class years ago when i couldn't get into a set up a business class. it was very interesting and in-fact helped me relate to my mom's problems a lot better. she was going thru the menopause and acting like a lunatic. also what was spoken about was post natal depression and the problems women face. but ultimately they never talked about evil men who oppress us women. what kind of stuff are they teaching you? it kinda sounds weird and brainwashing stuff

My professor is teaching me some valuable stuff actually, i'm learning a lot more than i thought i would. People think feminism is all about hating on men and well that's not the case at all. And like most other women i don't hate men, actually i love them but i just don't think they are the superior gender.

There's sexism because both genders spend a ridiculous amount of time trying to show how much they've been victimized instead of trying to find a good and working dialogue with the opposite sex. Instead of fighting there needs to be a change of mindset towards "let's work together and help each other to achieve our common goals". Sign me up to whatever school of thought is teaching that.

If they have feminism classes... I want manism classes, followed by gayism classes, bisexualism, and intersexism classes.

Also, I want black history month, white history month, asian history month, and the history of "other" that is found so often on forms.

Will need a reference for each of the 200 or more countries around the world.
