Do girls find people wearing glasses unattractive?

I'm 16 and never really had any success with girls, I wonder if it's my physical looks. I'm 5ft 11 and good looking (IMO of course!). But because I wear glasses that's not really big, one of those unrimmed ones, is that the reason for them finding me unattractive? Just need some opinions and advice here, cause if they do I see if I can get contacts.

Richard, I'm gonna echo what most people have said here and give you a short answer. Yes. You're still the person that you are with or without glasses. I often wear contacts, more for better vision than glasses provide me than vainity but I must wear my nerd glasses when using the computer. Just a couple of weeks ago my (somewhat) girlfriend told me how cute I looked in them.

Shoulders up, chin held high. You'll be fine, just have confidence!

Now I see the problem is how to shake off that nerd image, which some people unfortunately still have. I would walk into the shopping centre sometimes and sit down to eat when a group of guys around my age would say 'Ha, look at that nerd over there'. That's what probably hits my confidence

well, I have glasses, and I don't seem to have troble with girls, my troble was that I was completely oblivious ( I found out that 2 of my girl mates had a thing for me after I found my self a girl friend) but that's a different story

Glasses will sometime makes a difference, if you where huge horn rims then yeah, it's gonna effect you, try looking for frames that you like and you think make you look better, but honestly speaking, this is just for your own benifit it's all up to you, hell Buddy Holly made it big and look at his friggin glasses (save for the plane crash ofcourse). glasses doesn't matter, I wear glasses, my girlfriend wears glasses and frankly speaking I think she looks better with them on. so in the end, it's all in your head.

Hi richardrli, there really is no need to worry!
Glasses can make a guy look cute, smart, clever.... they are not a turn off!
Even if you think you have a nerdy image, there are girls out there who like that! Trust me on that one.
We all have different tastes.
Some go for the quiet people, others for the loud people, others for hard working, one of the lads....
Im sure you will find a girl that will accept you for you being you.

it depends on your face man, if you have a good looking face, you will look good with glasses, provided the glasses are suited for your face and not nerdy type glasses. i personally feel very attracted to girls with glasses, they look really cute
