Yeah, it was a dinner situation. I literally spelled it out for him before we went, because we were going to see my cousin who works there. I said I didn't have money for him, could he find someone to borrow from. I am aware and trying to stay out of situations where I pay for him. She ended up comping our entire bill for us, and I left her a huge tip, but he had to grovel a bit towards her and me, which is why it went the way it did. It's such a huge personality turn off. I hadn't been out with him a whole lot so I wasn't aware of how bad it was until others were like, he does this all the time.

I smoke him up, and my other friends up from time to time, I don't mind sharing, but when I see him later this week and he asks me, I will tell me he has to give me money if he wants to smoke.

Edit: I'm too lazy to correct the run-ons. Sorry.

Does this guy have a job? Is he really poor, or just cheap?

He works at a sleep away summer camp. Apparently, he has money, from what rumors say. He's not like trying to pay bills and shit. He's also 20.

    The ****? LOL.

I think that is so rude of him.

How are you gonna go out with someone and expect, not ask, but expect them to pay for your food? Where is his pride and shame?

I would've told him "Listen(insert name here), I(we) don't appreciate you mooching off of us everytime we go out. If you can not afford to pay for your own food, then you should not accompany us until you have enough money to go along with us. We have our own lives and our own things to deal with financially, and paying for a grown man's food is not part of it."

I really don't like people like that. They annoy me.

Summer sleep away camps pay less than a dollar an hour unless you are an activity specialist.

    He's probably poor.

Him being poor would never make it right for him to mooch off of them everytime they go out especially without respectfully asking them to pick up the tab.

He should get a new job then? I agree with LadieNisha, it's not my problem if he doesn't have money. I'm unemployed and scrounging but I don't mooch off my friends. I just live within my means.
