I did a sample exam with my study group today, man that was exhasuting. We did it in the library under the normal exam conditions with someone keeping the time and in the end we reviewed each other's work. I did okay, answered all the questions and was good for time, but these things stuck out like a sore thumb:
1. My pen (middle) finger hurts like hell and I got a blister! I wrote 14 pages in two hours and that did my hand in. Next saturday at 9am I'm going to have 2 exams each lasting for 3 and half hours, one after the other. If I get a blister just after two hours of intense writing I don't know how I'm gonna handle 7!!! I'm gonna have to improvise, put some rubbers around the pen or bring some ointment. I'm not kidding, I'm gonna bring that shit to the exam!
2. I need lots and lots more preparation. I answered the questions but it was just a passable effort. If I want a credit or distinction I'm gonna have to create a diagram for every unit and then link them all in so I can do that during the exam. I need those links fresh in my mind, because as soon as the time starts it's go go go and links are the first to get lost as the answers emerge.
Anyway, that's my rant for today and I'm back to studies. Never in my life have I done a 7 hour exam, stuff like this makes me want to quit learning (....but I won't)
Don't cry, don't regret and don't blame
Weak find the whip, willing find freedom
Towards the sun, carry your name
In warm hands you are given
Ask the wind for the way
Uncertainty's gone, your path will unravel
Accept all as it is and do not blame
God or the Devil
