Just what have we learned after 14 pages, and 201 posts (as I write...may be a half-dozen more before I can post).

Well, we learned that Elle is a shallow little thing, who uses very superficial criteria in her judgment of other people.

And, we learned that a couple dozen posters have slightly different, equally superficial criteria that they use in their judgments.

Shallowness and superficiality seem to be the whole game here. Can we take that as a lesson learned?

I did feel pretty shallow simply talking about my preference when it comes to physical aesthetics. You're right.

Though I do acknowledge that personality trumps all. I'd much prefer an 'average' looking girl with an awesome personality compared to Padma Lakshmi if she didn't have the personality I prefer.
