I know there's equipment that allows you to see other areas of the EM spectrum... however if we had more than 3 sensory pigments, we would naturally have a larger visible spectrum. That would change the color of everything. That's what I wish I could make. There are experiments being done, but they aren't successful yet.

No, just like in a camera that you take pictures with, all the lens does is focus the radiation, the method by which the image is made is a different process that doesn't concern the lens
