I think that its is pathetic (and offensive because of the double standard) that I can see black guys playing basketball yelling "pass the ball nigger" and nigger this and nigger that, but if some white guy two miles away whispered "nigger" in his sleep they'd be right there to beat his ass. I say if the word is THAT offensive then NO ONE can use it. Otherwise shut the hell up and deal with other people saying it if you want to say it. That is why I hate most rap music (besides the fact that it is just a bunch of people bragging about things they've never really done, mostly demeaning to women, and generally offensive with no positive message).

I'm black and I never say nigger.. it's really all about where and how you are brought up.. hell I don't like rap music at all... back when I was like 8 years old and living in CA my father would have a shit fit if he heard rap playing on the radio and I was near by.. He would say turn that shit off..

Well I'm in in way, shape, or form insinuating that all black people walk around saying "nigger' to each other, or that all black people listen to rap music. However the ones that DO constantly say "nigger" to each other out loud and in public are always the first ones ready to start a fight if they hear someone who isn't black say it (even if its a private conversation and it was said quietly). They are basically looking for a fight. I've never heard Mexicans calling each other "wetback", never heard asians call each other "egg rolls" and have never heard white people call each other "crackers or honkeys". I also think that it is totally absurd the way that some black people say "well I didn't say nigger, I said nigga", as if saying the original word in a horribly botched way makes it alright/different somehow.

LOL. Exactly. Oh and before anyone gets their panties in a bunch telling me that I have no business saying such things... I am half black. That being said I also think that the NAACP should be disbanded because all they do is look for trouble and look for ways to stay in the public eye. They served their purpose a long time ago and should have ceased to be at least a decade ago. Jesse needs to realize that the glory days of helping black people overcome real oppression are over. He should be focusing on telling black people to stop demeaning each other through rap music, use of "nigger", and trying to stop black on black violence. That's right, that might make him unpopular though, so he'll never hit those topics as hard as racism.

one thing i have noticed here in canada is that the white women who usually hang out with black guys are usually on the fat side or not that good looking, i am not sure about other countries.
