i enjoyed the realization that i have enough confidence to hear people talk about how i'm worthless, and having the knowing that they're full of shit and i am not at all worthless. it's a step on my way to freedom.

Little miss "I don't want a relationship" is going out with me Saturday after next. We're going to an opera of all things. Donizetti's Lucrezia Borgia.

She was telling me how all her friends were too broke to buy a ticket and guys never wanted to take her. I told her I'd see her opera show if she'd come see Richard III with me.

Not exactly a date. She's paying for her ticket. But it's close enough for me. Second date's almost a given if I don't snore too loudly during the opera. And the third date, the third date I'll invite her to watch Julius Caesar at my place. The one with Heston. Hell yeah. And by watch I mean have sex while it plays in the background. And in the end it's a win-win situation. I get laid. She still doesn't get saddled with a relationship. See, we both win. Right?

Richard III is my all time favourite Shakespeare play. I read it cover to cover so many times.

Its an OTC liquid medication you can take to help you sleep. I don't think they sell it in Oz.

Is that a statement about her personality? LOL, I *like* this one for you Gribble.

Oh, and that Caesar movie with C.Heston is awesome. Is that the one where he marries Cleopatra? Or am I confused with Cleopatra? Both good, I remember.

Wow, Gribble! You would be an awesome date! She's a lucky girl.

This is my favorite line from King Richard. I am hoping to insult someone one day by quoting it.

Blush, blush, thou lump of foul deformity,
For ’tis thy presence that exhales this blood
From cold and empty veins, where no blood dwells

Anyway - don't sleep in the opera. You might be surprised at how enjoyable it really can be. My daughter once played a bit part in a professional opera, and it was a fantasic experience for us all. It was beautiful.
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?

Well, this wasn't from today, but rather last night.

My son was the hero in his high school play last night - his first experience in acting, and also a leading role. It was great!

The story line kind of reminded me of eco, though.

    Has anyone seen "Urinetown"?

No. Heston played Mark Antony twice. Julius Caesar ends before he hooks up with Cleopatra.

I need to commit that quote to memory. It's a great one.

He did. But unless I'm mistaken that isn't mentioned in the play/film Julius Caesar.

Where'd you get them, the Salvation Army? A friend of mine has a suit like that. He wears it at indoor airsoft matches.

best part of my day was while i was working was seeing a brawl with these two guys which ended with one of them getting knocked out cause the other one smacked him in the head with a shovel, it was like pay per view UFC with weapons during work, was freaking sick but scarey never the less
Pain is just weakness leaving the body...
