I still stand by my original post:

    Clinton.

I think the US needs a solid leader who is smart. The fact she is a woman is just the thing to completely piss off the muslim nations, which is a nice touch.
Actually, I LIKE Obama, but he seems a bit naive to me. Whoever wins, tho, I hope they have it in them to do a combo ticket so the strengths of both are present in the White House.

Hill will be a bitch to work for, tho. Like Maggie Thatcher Supersized.

Obama announced he won the nominations of the Dems, just in case anyone didn't know already

Hilary said she's keeping her options open

I'm not from the U.S, have never been to the U.S and have no desire to go to the U.S, so I don't care much for their politics but from what I've seen I like Obama's style, and hopefully he will symbolically be able to solve racial issues. Such a silly thing to judge people by their skin colour.

People actually gave a shit about South Dakota primaries yesterday.

Did anyone see McCain's horrible speech? "That's not something we can believe in [insert cheezy smile here]"

I'm sick of Hillary Clinton's ****ing ridiculous attempts at 'creative' speech. She's trying to be the next Hitler or something.

People ask Obama dumbass questions. I don't like any of these candidates, but Obama seems to be the "best of the worst."

    Unity is independence.

Obama wouldn't even be close to where he is if he wasn't black.

Hillary wouldn't be where she is if she wasn't a woman.

Other than their physical characteristics, neither present anything revolutionary to the table.

It's not just that. It's the political bullshit and campaigning and all that other crap that the general idiot population buys into.

Now if only they just stop wasting all that money and use it for something worthwhile... like wipe their ass with it.

That's all politics is. It's a ****ing beauty pageant. Just go back and look at history. This country runs on corroded batteries.

I vote that the President should receive only a modest stipend as any other government funded volunteer would so they can stop focusing on money and start focusing on their ideals and getting shit done.

After all, idealistically, aren't they supposed to be a servant of the people?

    I sure wished it was.

I think it's about money and fame. It's all about the benjamins and having cameras shoved into your face. That's where government is corrupt.

I think we need a complete change of government. Because it's not just the presidents.

The president doesn't actually make all that much money. These people aren't doing this to get rich. They are doing it for power.

I don't like any of these candidates. Obama has a lot of charisma, but I agree with indi that he seems too naive. McCain is okay for a Republican... pretty moderate in many ways, but he is too old. Also, I think putting Hillary on Obama's ticket would be a mistake on his part.
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?

I agree. There should be a lot more transparency in politics and people should have a lot more control over what goes on. Not just in US, but everywhere.

Well, I do like some of the things Obama wants to do, but he wants to pull out of Iraq as badly as a poor guy with a cheap hooker. And that's gonna get a whole lot of jizz on everybody's faces.
