There is no God, there is only Satan! Hahahahaha! And he rules the world!
Actually, christians made Satan evil. As for the christians themselves.

I was being serious a bit. Everything to you think and everyway you feel is done by you...though I "DO" not want to change my depression because in my mind it is supprorted with good enough reasons. I will continue to be depressed untill reasons will come that change that. I know everyones situation is unique. I just fail to see you point in that statment that its not.Originally Posted by bluesummer

Hey, whatever works right.
Well Ive been depressed since I was about 12 or 13. At first it got blamed on hormones, then I thought I had issues with my sexuality, but once they were resolved I was still depressed. My doctor diagnosed me with clinical depression and anxiety about two years. It was fairly mild for years before I actually forced myself to go see a GP, but got worse after that, maybe that was the situational influence, and my reaction to having to accept that there was something wrong. I've tried counselling which didnt work because it's clinical, and have been on and off AD's like a yo yo since I got diagnosed.
For me anyway I never "enjoyed" my depression; somebody mentioned the power it gave you over other people, and I know some people sort of enjoy being miserable, or if youre younger, you might see your place in the family as the Problem Child, so if those problems go away, where are you left? With me, it was never like that, I did everything I could to avoid other people finding out for years. It was never attention seeking in any way shape or form.

They showed me this picture of 3 oranges and a
pear. They asked me which one was different and
did not belong. They taught me different was
wrong."

I thought I had something there. Oh well, I guess I made it sound a little cheesy...Originally Posted by shh!

Sorry, Tiger - I meant no disrespect to your religious beliefs, but some of us look at "the devil made me do it" thinking and belief in Satan as a way to deflect personal responsibility for one's actions. The part about being offended is that you seem to have assumed that we all believe as you do, but clearly, we don't. If your belief system brings you comfort, that is good, but we simply don't all agree on the existence of Satan, no offense intended.Originally Posted by cu_tigers90
It depends on how you use it... if, like shh said, you use it as a crutch or a scapegoat then yeah it's very wrong. Satan may tempt us, but we always make the choice to give into the temptation.
