"Since the end of April", lawl. You two were living together, yeah? Give it 4-6 months before you're totally over him. And not "omg im totally over him yayaya" like in your other thread.

We did post pictures in "post a pic" thread ages ago.. kingz didn't though so ya he has to before you do

Just stay strong and realize you dont need closure. Closure comes from within you and time heals all wounds as cheesy as that sounds-its true

Haha no we were not living together!

Last night, I decided I didn't want to talk to him today. I am doing great without him and I don't want to hear about his life, really. So, I sent him a message today telling him I was busy...

Dont play games with him. You were the one who initiated contact. Be straight with him and tell him you actually made a mistake and think its better to remain no contact so you can both heal and move on. Apologize for breaking no contact and tell him it wont happen again. You just had a weak moment but your fine now. Hope he is too

    Leave it at that

I disagree with this. Don't be anything with him. He's your ex and you're still healing. Don't say anything to him at all.

I agree. I don't need to tell him that I was an emotional mess when I talked to him a couple days ago and reacted because I was feeling shitty about myself and that I thought talking to him would make me feel better so when he said we should talk on Thursday I agreed but now that I have clarity and don't feel like a piece of shit anymore, I don't think it's a good idea and he should probably never talk to me again.

Yeah, no. I don't owe him anything! He's gone this far - so me being busy is fine and he doesn't need to know anything else.

Really? Extremely stupid? I just said, 'Hey, my class got switched to tonight so I can't talk tonight - maybe another time!' - yup, I'm an idiot.

Ignore masticate. He's the forum moron, so he's just trying to make himself feel better.

You need to stop thinking of what you do/do not owe him, or what is/isn't acceptable to say. There is no you and him. Not anymore. He's dead to you now.

No, it was stupid. You texted him (initiating contact) to tell him you didn't want to talk to him. It's a stupid game.

    I wasn't rude about it.

He was going to call me tonight and I had to let him know that I was busy so tonight we can't talk.

I like living life where he is dead to me, haha so thanks for your advice everyone! I will not be talking to him anytime soon. Ironically (?) I got asked out on a date tonight - so coool.

    Never said you were.

Anyway I'm not in the mood to argue over something so trivial. Follow the advice of the more senior posters and ignore me because I am an argumentative moron who can't understand what people say to me.

It seems you have found your path so follow it.

    No don't stay in communication.

All you're doing is delaying the break up process. If you really loved and cared for him you'll never be over him that soon. It's not worth it in the end no matter how hard it is without him.
