Tell her that the conversation the other day has really bothered you and you'd like to talk about it futher. It's important to not do it in a defensive manner. Rather, approach it in a manner of wanting to know how you appear to others.
Let her talk without interrupting or defending yourself. Then go away and think about it honestly - but if after thinking you believe she really, really misunderstands you, then it's OK to tell her.
That being said, it may have just been something she said without thinking. A gender stereotype she used on you.
Never regret anything that has happened in your life. It cannot be changed, forgotten or undone. So, take it as a lesson learned and move on.
