You could do a gold star chart for him, like parents do with kids, lol? But instead if he follows through on the list of chores you give him to do that entitles him to a special something from you, massage, something he really wants to do and you don't. He might be the kind that will only do something he doesn't want to do if he gets rewards back in doing so. But once he gets used to doing those specific chores it should become more naturally for him to do it on his own, you'd hope after a few weeks. Has he done anything yet?
