I've been wondering what the best action is.

Ladies...what would you prefer? A guy telling you he loves you through a very heart-felt and romantic letter? Or for him to be straight forward and declare his love for you in person?

I think the romantic letters are used in situations when face to face contact is hard to do or is not going to happen...no?

In person seems to be the best idea so far.
Although, anyway would've been better then what I got. He comes back after breaking up with me and professes his love and asking for forgiveness.

In person, no letters. Letters are good to add spark to a relationship after it's been taking place for a while and they have already declared love for each other.

Ov made a good point, letters only happen when its hard to do. And it is hard to do sometimes, but doing it in person will make a lot of other things easier......trust me.

Do it in person!

If you are a shy person, then what would you do? I can and will talk in person, but it just seems so hard to do, because of the fact that, no matter how much you prepare for it in your mind, you can never actually be sure of the actual outcome until it happens. You get so easily put on the spot...

I think that whatever he decides to do, as long as he means it, is fine. A letter might be nice as it is something you can keep forever but it wouldnt mean much if he was not serious. la... ~XXX~
