Posting urls in chat box

Is there a way to fix posting url's in chatbox so it doesn't double-post the address with all the [url=...] nonsense?

All suggestions and questions about the forum should be posted here. It allows other members as well as mods to reply if it is a simple answer. In this particular case, LoveAdmin (aka LA), would need to make some changes as this is an issue that we cannot correct at the mod level.
