To me it doesn't matter, as long as me and her have something in common and if we're like different sides of the coin(as in we complement each other, one is talkative the other likes to listen more etc), I will find her attractive.
I know I wouldn't date someone who is more overweight than I am, or obese, no offence. But body types don't matter to me. Maybe I wouldn't date a girl who is much taller than me..

But for the sake of the thread, I guess I prefer girls who are a bit curvy.

I think healthy is the term that people should impress. I know this girl that works at the vet I go to.. she's pretty.. but she is really a stick (figuratively). So much so that I wonder how she walks around without hurting herself... I fear for her. She's pretty, in the face area... but if she doesn't hold on to someone when she walks outside she will seriously blow away.

I think you can be larger or smaller, but as long as you are healthy it doesn't really matter.

My personal preference is a woman that looks like a woman... most especially NOT a man that looks like a woman... and while I've seen a few animals people have dressed as women that could be passable, I would definitely not abide by that either.

I just want to know why some women ask a question where posters have to reject one body type in order to make another body type feel better about themselves. Why can't these women deal with their own insecurities without having to do comparisons which make others feel bad? It's basic bullying really - encouraging everyone to put someone else down so that the instigator feels temporarily happier.

Lol this has actually made me quite angry, what are they thinking?! There's a huge difference (literally) between curvy and obese in my opinion, just as there's a big difference between slender and anorexic. All this pressure on women to conform to a certain standard is not good, especially not when magazine images of women who already fit that standard are still airbrushed to within an inch of an eating disorder. Bah.

Look at the women who's bodies get glorified in the media or the big name women in porn and they have bigger asses than the type you describe and a healthy bodyfat %.

Women who aren't afraid to hit the gym and reap the rewards of weight lifting are become more and more desired and the whole idea that they're going to accidently get "too muscular" is now recognized as obsolete.

She's far from anorexic, in fact she's very strong and could probably demolish your average male if she ever fought one. Now, she takes exceptional care of herself and works out like an animal, don't get me wrong, I'm just making the point that the whole "anorexic looking = sexy" line of thinking is now obsolete. Women who were too skinny for their own good were considered sexy back when we didn't have the resources or the nutrition and training knowledge to where a woman could sculpt herself to look like the above pic. Now we have them and thus, have evolved beyond our obsession with the frail skin and bones physiques.

i really like thin girls.. but i once dated a curvy one.. i have my own preferences when it comes to girls but it doesn't mean that i'll always stick to it, when i like a girl it's not always about their figure, there's a lot more important categories to look for...
