On over 90 % plus replies I want to thanks posters the thanks button is missing, is that just a forum bug that comes and goes or is it my account, or my computer causing it?

It's a forum setting. You can only thank posts that have been posted less than 24 hours ago.
We've been trying to get loveadmin to change it for ages, but he somehow thinks that removing the time limit would give way to "Thank spam", whatever that is.

I was able to today, so what you said now makes total sense to me. Thank you so much for explaining it to us, searock. I would think thanking others builds a community vibe, and is a good thing.
