So LR, are you going to try? I have to go soon, will check back later.

Speaking of the game, cool experience, I think I should take SOMETHING from it as I think it has some significance but not sure what yet; I'm walking outta the game, game was over and I've got a near 2 hour bike ride home. I get stopped near the end of the parking lot by this guy, he was talking about women not being nice enough to respond to his advances out there. Then he says something about "Are they all gay? Why don't they respond and stop being bitches to guys who have the daring to talk to them?" He thanks me for at least being kind enough to talk to him and then I gotta bike hard to make for the lost time.
So.....I guess one lesson is, Don't try to hit on women walking to their cars?
^^^ are you saying that's how you'd respond to: "Good game, huh?" O.o

Lol, no, of course not. It was just a weird experience that I think has some significance. A sign?
Okay then.. what would you say to "Good game, huh?" ;0)

Realistically: "Uhhh yeah.,....err,,,,"
So, is that it? Are you giving up before you start, or was it just not helpful?
If you want more scenarios, you'll have to say so. I'm certainly not going to extend myself if you won't help yourself.

Oh, I'm not giving up. In fact, I've already started kinda thinking about trying it out in real life. Not yet, though. Almost.
OK, best scenario: cashier chicks. Especially at fast food. On the other hand, I've always been hesitant to make moves on girls on the job because they probably HAAAATE it the most, since they're probably flooded with compliments per day.
I sent a few messages last night. Got a response to one in which I started by asking if a photo hanging on her wall was James Dean (couldn't tell; a little glare). I said if it was that is really cool and I then asked how she got it. So she responded confirming that it is and said she got it at a garage sale.
Good? OK? At least I'm trying to get myself out there? And now that I have a response, I'm stuck on if I should even reply. She did add a (: at the end...Good or bad or neither?

Hi ......
"That Dean print was an awesome find, almost as awesome as my "find" when I came across your profile "
(if thats too forward for you, then just:
Ask her about school or what music she likes or anything to do with what you kids like/do these days.
Keep the ball rolling, dude.

That's pretty good. Now I was wondering: her username I am guessing includes her name so I was thinking of using that so I can introduce myself. Something like "I am guessing from your username that your name is _______? Mine is _______." That is, in addition to the things you've suggested. I mean, this has to be perfect: I got a response! That never happens! So naturally, I can't afford to screw up/send an insufficient message..

Update: 2 for 2 on the last two messages I sent. The first one I mentioned above. The second, I saw a picture of her dog and so I said that her picture with her dog made laugh (the dog made a very peculiar face) and then I complimented the dog, saying it was cute and asked what the dog's name was. Got a response to that, too!
But I suuuuuck so horribly with second messages, maybe even worse with those than first messages...

You're doing great. Just relax and go with the flow. Did she just answer the question and didn't offer anything else for you to work with?

In both cases, no questions asked in return but with a smile to end both...Plus, this last message had a pretty good little crack in it; a joke about her dog's name. So tough to work with in both cases...
