Taking things slow...how slow?

Hello! Yet another question for the ladies here. I hit it off with this girl but she just got out of a 2 year relationship (she ended it and is more happy now) but she wants time to herself for a while, but said if the opportunity arises to date again she wants to go slow. She said this to me a few times that night. We'd text everyday before but now after that night she has been quite distant. Either replies back with very little or doesn't reply at all.

Now I know I should probably keep my distance for a while too, but I'd love to see her again! Should I not contact her for a few weeks? I'm not good with the taking things slow aspect, so would love some advice!

Hmm? Maybe someone has a link to a thread covering this? I tried searching and didn't find anything similar to my situation.

Why don't you ask her what she means by, "going slow?" Then you'll have some idea of how to proceed. Until you have that information, you are dancing in the dark! Ann

She means right now she doesn't want to find someone to rebound with. Your best bet is to leave her be for a bit of time, let her get over things, and then come to you. If she is genuinely interested, you'll hear from her again.
