hey guys my first post and need some advice

i met a girl early this semester in one of my classes, started talking to her and found out we have a lot similar tastes, so i asked her out to a date to a concert, it went well but i didn't get to kiss or anything, i figured i just needed to keep on trying, so i took her on a second date to go to see an art exhibit, i thought it was going well but at the end we didn't do anything, and when i was just flirting with her through some txts, she randomly told me she just wanted to be friends because she didnt want to ruin our friendship, what should i do know because i just found out she is going to be in my class next semester?

Well, you don't want a frienship so don't allow yourself to be put into one. If you talk to her, let her know you're only interested in dating her and a friendship wouldn't work for you, then promptly ask her out again. If she says "no" or "I'm sorry to hear that..." then she just isn't interested.

Just let your friendship flow naturally. Don't try to force it if she doesn't want to go too fast. I say focus on you for now. Eventually, she will come around and decided if she wants to take it to the next level. Perhaps she is considering her future or she is afraid of failure, I don't know. I'm sure she will let you know that she is ready.
