I only see threads of you about islam and muslims, I really don´t have much interest in that religion but I know some thing, and I see right to other people to know about other religions.
it´s ok if you like all that, that´s why there´s free religions but I really think that so many threads about it is getting sick to everyone. If you juts put one, two.. maybe three about all this would be better for everyone. You can continue your threads instead of creating new ones, that will help in the forum, because there will be more space for more threads.

Other thing I want to say is.. do you say that song is the one on the link? Do you like the song ( not arabian) or it´s only a way to send us to another page about Islam...

please.. if people want to know about islam, they will join your threads.

Thanks for that song link, though, it was hilarious! You should realize that most people agree that that's what Islam should represent, but it's obvious that the most outspoken represantitives aren't so keen on Peace, Love, Family, and Charity. In the words of some person: "Not every muslim is a terrorist, but it sure seems like every terrorist is a muslim."

Note: It doesn't matter that your idea of Islam clashes with theirs, in the most real sense they are still representing your religion. If you must label yourself, why not check out Buddhism? Everybody loves Buddhism! (Except fundamentalists, apparently, both Christian and Muslim.)

Just one question, if this life is a test, why do women have to wear those ridiculous head-scarves? Will they fail the test if they do not? Just seems a little silly to me.

really I don´t care if some girl want´s to go without showing anything, but it´s her decision, not mine
I don´t belive in religions, none of them, I don´t belive in "im not alowed to.. eat this, wear that, go to church, pray, or whatever i have to do in all religions
I think that I am free to decide , that i know what is good and what is bad, and thats enough for me.
I did not say that there´s no god.. I can´t say that, but I haven´t seen one never, I only see so many religions, that I really don´t belive in anyone, they´re just for me like a story, nice to know, but not to follow them.

I´d never belive in a religion that if a women goes to bed before been married, she can be killed by her family because of honour.. really we live in the 21 century! we arençt in the middle age!

Why?

Well, first of all, I wasn't endorsing a system where all muslim women "show their bodies" to everyone. In fact, I'm not sure if I said that ever. It's my opinion that women should be free to cover up and show off as much as they goddamn want to. (Hehe, "goddamn.")

And since when is Buddhism "praying to a statue?" In fact, in all my years of studying religions, the closest thing to something like that would be in, you guessed it, Islamic tradition.

You know! How everyone must pray in the direction of the Kaaba? Come on, you should know this, I can't believe how badly you set yourself up! Oh well, should be fun for me.

The Kaaba is a large granite cube. Muslims face it when they pray. So who's "praying to a statue?"


Oh, one.moron, maybe you should investigate eastern philosophy a bit more. Not every means of spirituality involves seeing yourself as a sinner, or someone that needs to be saved; or punished or rewarded, for that manner. Some people choose to seek the divine on their own accord, and not accept some doctrine as the ultimate truth.

It's about experiencing the transcendent, one.moron, not nodding and bowing in blind agreement. This is what I see in churches and mosques and temples, behind all the false smiles (remember, this is all unspoken) :

"I believe in this, don't you?" "Oh, of course, so does he, right?" "Yeah, I do, John does, right?" "Yeah, well, I do. It's very personal to me." "I don't want to argue." "These are my beliefs, you should respect them." "You can't question God's will." "I believe this, I believe, I believe, I believe..."

Find God for yourself, one.moron. Look inside.
