Hey All...just curious to know if anyone on this site has had any stories of success or words of wisdom on moving forward in a relationship after having been cheated on. I know there are people that can do it. I have chosen to be one of those people, but it is still hard. Thought I would see if there was anyone out there who can relate before I go out and buy a book about it.

i dont believe in success after being cheated on. The relationship's tainted. Guy's a prick. all the success you need is in the next guy you meet.

Yes, the relationship is going to continue to be strained, but we have committed to working through this. Yes, he was a prick...and he knows it. I have chosen to forgive not forget. This is still very hard. I am just trying to figure out a ways to move forward and ease my own pain. Given the fact that I am not, just yet, giving up on our relationship, is there anything I can do in the meantime to ease the pain?

if there's pain that needs easing..you dont need to stay in the relationship. that's retarded. if he cheated on you once..there's always that chance he's going to do it again. and i dont care HOW many times a girl says it...they're always going to be suspicious.

yeah i have,i caught my man in bed with another girl at a party! i dragged him out of the bed naked n hit him with a beer bottle then kicked him in the nuts...he shat himself,and needless to say he never did it again lol
they just need a swift kicking to show em whos boss sometimes.
we're still hapily together and have been for a year and a half since the 'incident' hehe, at least now he knows who wears the trousers

I was just talking to my cousin's gf, and he cheated on her, she won't forget at all, and therefore will never fully trust him...there's nothing worse than not being able to trust your partner not to cheat.
