guys how should i react back to this situation?

i recently broke up with my bf. reason coz i had fallen for a guy friend of mine and ended up telling him how i felt about him when he was leaving for another country.however he declined saying there is no scope for a long distance relationship and i didnt pursue the matter further...we chatted 2-3 times over the net (just normal stuffs).. however,recently my ex bf sent me a screenshot of the chat i had with my frnd (this was sent by my friend to my ex bf).. now i don't understand it and i feel really violated... however i am not sure how should i react... should i confront him and breakoff the friendship or just ignore it??

Keep the guy friend because he is a real man and showed integrity by not dating you and even possibly by showing your ex the conversation he seems to be no nonsense and truthful and that trait is respectable.... the conversation was equally his as it was yours so he could do what he wants with it now its your turn to be straight up with him and ask him why he did what he did and whatever your answer is will tell you how yo react and hopefully its thought out and rational not emotional reaction

Why would your friend send a screenshot of your chat to your EX boyfriend? Are they friends with each other? If not, you should definitely stop considering this guy a friend.

yeah they had met a couple of times via me..what i know of is that my bf had sent a msg to my guy-friend after the breakup saying he ruined his life.. not that any of my business but why would my guy-friend take that out on me?
