Considering going for the first time. It is a cool thing for guys to go and do (it's not gay to ask a friend to go to one, is it?)?

Doing so is my only chance ever to see the "twins", being that it is plainly evident by now that I'll be a virgin forever.

What are tips from personal experience on going to a strip club?

Why not just use the money to go to a prostitute? Least you can get a load off and renounce your V-plates.

Take $20 in ones for the strippers. They will approach each person around the stage (sometimes women go to strip clubs too!) Give them 1-2 dollar bills, put it in their bra or g-string but DO NOT take off their clothes. Take another $30 for drinks. If you want a lap dance, they are $20-30 and usually you have to buy at least one drink, plus pay cover charge when you are there.

For lap dances, the rules vary by state, but in Michigan you cannot touch the stripper. Just put your hands back on the back of the seat and enjoy. They will bump and grind.

lol, I'm a female and I never been to strip club before and I asked my bf to go with me, but he said no...so I asked his male friends to go with me, but they all said that it's boring going to strip club because it's like being teased... they said they rather sleep with prostitute than going to strip club.
I think here in AU, you can touch her boobs/bottom, but not between her legs.

^^ Very true! I don't go to strip clubs because it's a big tease. It's a lot of money for nothing. I can get free porn online, and the bars smell like fear and desperation. And the (strip club) girls are real aggressive about getting you to buy (overpriced) drinks. At least the one I went to.

There are websites that review strip clubs. Google for the one you are going to. Use the club name and city name in your Google search terms. The clubs in my town all got bad ratings, so the best one is an hour away from me.

My hubby used to go to strip clubs. Yes, it's ok to suggest going with a friend.

Do find some reviews. I had friends that were strippers for a while and to be honest I wasn't sure how they made their money. Neither were fantastic to look at and IMO if you're going to pay for nudity it should be quality.

I wonder which is considered less attractive: overweight (kind of a general term, no? Obese seems to have a more "fat" connotation to it than overweight) or underweight, such as I am.

IMHO, overweight is less attractive. Wobbly is not a good look to me.

Well, let's change the parameter a little: Not awfully overweight but enough to be medically considered overweight versus underweight. Those are the kinds of guys I seem to have to compete with.
