when my ex and i broke up, i blocked her for a few weeks because it was hard to see her online. All i wanted to do was IM her, in which i couldn't, because of the no contact thing. It made things especially hard.

Then, we decided to take on the "friends" role, which was ok for a little while, but the "friendship" was hurting me a lot. I blocked her again about a month and a half ago, and well, yeah, havent really talked to her. Those damn "hidden messages," "sappy song lyrics," would really mess me up. Oh and i shut my cell phone off too. Try not to sweat it too much.

tom is your ex right?? your ex?? for most people, it's usually true that exs get past the differences of they past. they tend to talk and are generally cool with one another, but however, they do not really engage in friendship activites. true there are those friends who talk often and still see eachother, but for the most part, your ex will only be your ex... not your friend. move on.
