I had a really awful dream last night:

I dreamt that my ex was chasing me and no matter how fast I ran I couldn't escape. I eventually woke up at 4am wide awake, drenched in sweat.

I was wondering whether anyone else had had dreams that freaked them out, about exes, stuff they're afraid off etc...

Not a bad dream, but:

I play the drums, so I had a dream last night that I was good as hell and I ****ing rocked the stage. It was awesome.

Oooh, interestingly enough I too had a memorable dream last night.

I was kinda with this girl I'm kinda digging right now..but we're just friends because she never sends off any signals as to anything other than sound friendship.

But last night in the dream she did and she kissed me.

Man, that only makes me wake up digging her more.

it's weird i only have scary or disturbing dreams. i've rarely had a dream that was all happy and flowers. i've woken up many times in a big freak or crying because my dream was worse than usual. i'm ****ed in the head people.

I've had an increase in scary dreams these past few months.

I also occasionaly dream about my dead cousin who passed about 2 years ago. He was one of my best buds, and it's so confusing to see him in my dreams cause I know he's dead but he's seems so real. I usually wake up having to remind myself that he is in fact gone. It's the only time where I start to confuse my dreams with reality.

Hmm...I never really thought of it that way.

i had a dream last year about my grandmother. my whole family was at this function including her, she died a few years ago. there was music playing and juan gabriel came on, he was her absolute favorite and when she was dying i sang her one of his songs, anyway one of his songs came on and she turned to me and started singing along. i woke up crying and realized that she was visiting me...

I spent 20 months in Afghanistan and was shot twice I often dream about that particular night over and over; I was shot in the lower back and leg.

you were in afghanistan? my cousin is there now. i miss him

Wow.. My cousin is in the airforce, but he's up in DC, so I can't imagine what it would be like if he were in Afghanistan =/

I usually don't dream, and if I do, I have those really real-feeling dreams. The other exception is if I watch scary movies; I dream about what I've just watched. I had trouble for a while after watching Puppet Master. Possessed doll movies always seem to give me nightmares.

My brother is workin' on getting out of the Army.

Yes I served with the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit for 20 months in country, ironically the only thing that stopped me from going from one war to another war, from Afghanistan into Iraq was my injuries.

I’m sure your cousin will return home safely and soon, it seems to be calming down there now since the elections are passed, I still keep in touch with some friends who are still in country and I believe my unit was one of the last to see major combat over there. Everything over there now is more or less day-to-day policing.
