Do guys lie to make girls feel better...

So after taking everyones advice on here, i stopped texting the guy i was seeing, and I rarely got a response.
The other day he texts me, and we have a conversation, He says...

Him - 'why haven't you text me'

Me - ' to be honest, didn't think you were interested, so i didn't bother'

Him - 'Well you thought wrong, I just don't have much time at the moment and didn't want to ask to see you for just an hour then have to go'

Is that sincere or just chasing a bit of action?

Sounds like an enthralling relationship. If someone is truly interested they'll make the time, he just wants to have a "go".

Seriously. This is almost always BS when I hear this. I mean how long does it really take to send a text message these days? 5 seconds? No one is that busy. Hell even the President is fairly active on Twitter lol.

people are only as busy for those who they want to ignore...repeat that and never forget it. better yet have some fun at his expense and call him out on it...ive done it, it really interesting to catch people where it hurts.

As stated above, when a guy really wants to spend time with you, he can skip meals, skip sleeping, skip anything to make time for you. Being busy is a very poor excuse....it's almost a polite way of saying no, but not really.

When I was working 12 hour days I'd spend my lunch break texting this girl I was into. You make the time.

    And yes we lie.
