I bought a real cheap one 2 years ago for $8.95 American. Still works great! I would probably buy something inexpensive for the first one. You can always upgrade if she really likes it.

It has a dial on it that allows you to vary the speed...low to high with every speed imaginable in between.but you don't think there should be diffrent types of vibrating or something?
just an on/off switch?

If the remote's for you, variable speed is a waste of time. Guys just jam the speed all the way up anyhow.
