Him and Laguna had a little spiff about his drinking and using it as an excuse to say things to me that I might find inappropriate. He got mad and couldn't take it when Laguna called him on it and now I guess he is leaving. Oh well. Later Barnicle Bob.

You know..I'm not too crazy about his sn...that did kinda bother me about him. Good. Another thing about his posts..they were a bit weird..I'm pretty sure english wasn't his first language..I'm not sure it's even his second, or any number at all. English is not his language..and the sn is an overcompensation.

I'd have to agree but he wasn't so bad in that respect. There are people on here whose first language is English and they still insist on speaking like fools.

you know what is really disturbing... people would rather learn that crap than an actual foreign language. people learn how to talk like snoop dog and won't even learn how to speak french, you know? anyway, meanderings...

My point exactly. It's not logical. Ebonics and Izzle talk is not going to land you your dream job. It makes you look less educated and poorly raised. Channel all that energy into learning Latin or French. Or better yet, Chinese or another Asian language. They are in high demand with a lot of jobs that deal overseas. It's a good idea and it's not a waste of time in the slightest.

People are going to start put that type of language on resumes and wonder why they didn't get their job. But it's so true misombra, I would rather learn Italian...I used to know it before, but lost it.
