Men and Porn

I know that most men look at porn, but can you guys break it down for me so that I can understand a little better as to why? I can understand it for particular, occassional use...but what about the daily, just looking sort of thing? When you are in a happy, fulfilling relationship what purpose does it serve? Is there a line on what is going to far?

I am not naive on the subject and know the general fair about "men being visually stimulated", but was hoping for a bit more info on it.

For me, I watch porn for the things I'd like to do, but can't really cause either:

A) The girl isn't open to the idea.

or

B) They are things I know I couldn't bring myself to do.

But if you are not jacking off, what is the purpose? Why do some men want to look at naked pics constantly? There is no judgement here, I am just trying to understand what purpose it serves in a non-masturbation sense.

I've got a few buddies that watch porn and I ask them why? They just say that it's what everyone does. It's been a social acceptance that if most guys do it, join the club. Personally I'm not into porn. Sex is not everything, which seems to be what a lot of people think.
