Was he lying? Looking for a guys perspective, thanks to anyone who replies :)

Me and my bf of nearly 2 years recently broke up. He could be a huge asshole and was very manipulative, but he could be really sweet too.
I didn't care at all about romance or anything before the relationship but because i was so surprised about some of his views i guess now they seem kind of important to me? I guess even though on the whole he wasn't a very nice guy, im worried that other guys wont do the things i did end up really liking about him?

One was that he genuinely said he didn't find other women attractive once we started going out (were friends first). He said he could tell why people would think a girl was pretty but wouldnt find them pretty himself and wasn't attracted to them. Do any of you have the same opinion about your girlfriend/partner/wife?

My other question is, he said once we had been dating for a month he stopped masturbating, because he felt it was really disrespectful to me whether he used porn or not. He also said he couldnt use porn anyway because i was the only girl he found attractive. We didn't do much at first and didn't have sex for most of the first year, and even then weren't that sexually active but he was always adamant that he didn't masturbate and didn't need to and id didnt bother him how often we did it. I don't think he was lying especially because he would cum really quickly when we hadnt in a while because he didn't (which didnt worry me).

I'm more just asking, do you think he was lying about the masturbating thing? And do you not because you find it disrespectful to your partner? What would you do if she asked you to stop or just not use porn?

Just looking for your advice. I never thought guys were like this before but considering he was so 'special'/'amazing' about these things im worried that i would expect this from my next bf? Or not be happy if he didn't feel/do these things?

Like i said these things never worried me before but now ive had a guy who was like this its kind of given me quite higher standards.

What's your opinion on this stuff? /what are you like in your current/previous relationships?

Thankyou so much to anyone who replies.

I'm more just asking for guys opinions on this?
Most of my friends say that he was lying about not doing it, but i dont see why because i never told him it was an issue? I'm not trying to start up a discussion about whether it is right or wrong.
And it's not all about masturbation..
I would just like an insight into what other guys are like in their relationships/when they are in one. I guess so i can be more open minded about going into another relationship down the track.

He might've been, he might not.

No normal guy would say or do that... but I have known a few people (both genders) that have claimed not to masturbate. Personally I think they were lying, but how to prove it? WHY prove it? Who the hell cares?

I'm not trying to prove it - that's not what i was asking. It didnt bother me in the relationship and it doesnt now.
    But thanks for your input.

    lol..

Dude sounds more like someone who doesn't like sex much. Period. If you're still talking to him tell him he should rub one out once and a while to clean out the pipes or he might end up with Prostate Cancer.

Google it if you don't believe me.

No, we were both quite/very young when we started going out. That's why.

I was quite young when I started "going out" too and believe me.. sex wasn't something I could do without once I started having it.

In fact the younger you are, the less you can usually do without it.

If my BF said that to me I would think he was insane.....in fact it would creep me out, because that would mean he isn't a real man in my eyes. Masturbation is disrespectful?....oh come on! Thats just stupid.

I'm more just asking, do you think he was lying about the masturbating thing?
Who cares if your bf had a wank or not? Who cares if I had a wank or not? Who cares if I'm wanking on the computer right now?
And do you not because you find it disrespectful to your partner? What would you do if she asked you to stop or just not use porn?
What would I do if she asked me not to use porn? I'd break up with her right there. If she's so insecure she doesn't want me to use porn, she is not the girl for me.

Just looking for your advice. I never thought guys were like this before but considering he was so 'special'/'amazing' about these things im worried that i would expect this from my next bf? Or not be happy if he didn't feel/do these things?
