I love naive comments like this. First of all, I am not referring to your sexual history specifically, Smackie, I simply don't care.
But if you think that someone's past doesn't dictate who they are, then you are saying we should release criminals from prison, ignore the education requirements of professions, forgive those who cheat on their spouses, or lie, or steal... because none of that matters NOW, right? And we can't tell anything about them based on that past behaviour.
I don't think you understand what it is you are trying to say.

I don't agree with the "it's none of her business" type of comments because personally I prefer a girlfriend that can look past such things. So, I will be honest, and if she can't take my honesty that means she isn't the right person for me.

Second thoughts can generally be amended with judicious action; injudicious actions can seldom be recovered with second thoughts.
