alright, i know that everyone here can related to this. so i'm here sitting at my computer browsing the forums... minding my own business when i get a phone call. now who could that be? i'm guessing that maybe someone wants me to work for them because everyone usually will call my cell and my house phone was ringing. so i'm thinking to myself, should i answer it or not?? well i get up off my ass, pick up the phone and answer it. i say hello three times without a responce from the other end and i'm thinking oh this really was a waste of my time. right before i hang up however, a voice answers hello, and the lady on the other end is looking for my sister. being that this IS someone trying to sell some bullshit product. now i'm thinking you *****.. you wasted 5 minutes of my precious relaxation time... dammit.

i hate telemarketers. i have my bf answer them because they get me so pissed that they make me stop whatever i'm doing and wasting my time to sell me something. i just got a new phone line and the second it's turned on they start calling, even though i told them to keep my number unpublished blah blah blah, that doesn't mean shit, they still call! cell phones definitely have one up on regular phone lines for this reason. but i hang up as soon as i hear nothing when i say hello. i will scream at them if they start their schpeal.

I usually mess around with them and they get so confused. Ever seen that one thing on TV, Seinfeld Skit:

He asked for the telemarketers home number to give them a call back later and then the person said 'no' and he said 'why not? You don't want anyone bothering you at home?' and then the guy said 'yes' and seinfeld said 'now you know how I feel.' Then hung-up. It was great.

Also: Have you people ever herad of the do-not call list? Our house is on it and has yet to recieve a telemarketer phone call since January 1st. Stop bitching and sign up, it's free anyhow.
