Just had a look, do you play Misombra? It looks very interesting, I'd play for sure but I have a pretty poor internet connection (internet providers in Australia is sub-par).

i have a character and i'm still learning but it's a social place it'd be fun if lf peoples were around the galaxy.
plus i like the graphics i guess they use images from hubble. that's cool, you know?

okay I signed up for a trial. I'll download it at uni.
What's your name? How do I find peeps?
Is it burnin'? Well, f-ck, now you're learnin'.
Oh, that looks cool!
Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.
Tried this a while ago with a friend, was fun. Not a fan of monthly subscriptions though.
Played it for a two-month stint about a year back, lots of fun if you know where to look. I'd highly recommend checking out the Eve University corp to get initial training, to ask questions and experience organized fleet action.
Unfortunately, despite that it is quite friendly to casual players, I judged that it'd be too difficult to keep up with it alongside the intensive studies and my job, and my aging laptop struggled to cope with it when in crowded places. And while its fine at first the whole 'waiting-to-train' thing becomes pretty tiresome later on.
Good luck with it, its a good game for grown-ups
Oh, and as a teaser for those who haven't heard of it. Except that these are mainly fleet-and-war based, not the other aspects.
Lipp how does Eve go on the downloads? And how fast does your connection need to be?
Is it burnin'? Well, f-ck, now you're learnin'.
i sometimes have issues with this game because i use linux and eve hates it. my sn is maw killa. i don't know how you would find me. send me your sn and the guy will help me find you.
baby ya hustle. but me i hustle harder.
Downloads in terms of getting the initial game client? Last time it was about 500mb for the game, and maybe another 300-400 for updates I think, which is tiny compared to most other games, I'm not sure what the incremental 'playtime' downloads are but theyre likely to be miniscule. And connection-wise Eve tends to do pretty well as, in a sense, movement and effects are strictly calculated (e.g. you tell your ship to orbit or approach an object rather than directly steering it, and the same with firing weapons, you pick the target and initiate firing but won't be aiming yourself - it's a strategic rpg, not a full-blown simulator or fps), which makes it alot easier on the connection. My problems have always been graphics-based, never the connection while using an everyday ADSL line which here doesn't cope with anything else online.
This is the only Maw Killa I found, but might help him find ya.

Shame that things are real hectic right now and for the next few months, otherwise it'd be fun to join y'all.
okay, I've downloaded the game and I'm creating my character.
Other peeps should do the same
Is it burnin'? Well, f-ck, now you're learnin'.
I created a character and had a short fly around, but off to bed cause it's getting late and I have to work. It looks cool though.
I'm going to have another go on Sat night. Not the coolest way to spend a saturday night I know, but my girlfriend's got a 21st and I'm still on dry March for another weekend.
My name is Anjin Yabu.
