    Old School Video Games

Does anyone on here remember any of the old school video games like the original Nintendo (NES) or Sega Genesis? Today I pulled out my bf's old Nintendo and started playing Mario 3 (Those games were fun!!!) Anyway, it lasted a while and then it froze up. I had to reset it, but then the screen wouldn't stop blinking. So I remember you used to have to blow in it. I tried that, but I can't get it to stop blinking.

I read on the net that the connectors on the old Nintendo were made of copper, which oxidizes over time. Apparently, you can buy a new connector, not made of copper, for only about $11. Then, all of a sudden, it's like your system is brand new. I'm wondering if anyone has ever tried this? Or if you just want to say something about old school games, feel free. They are so much fun!!!

My SNES is somewhere at my mom's house, I'd love to pull that out again and play but I can't find the damn thing. I'm really itchin' to play some Perfect Dark again too, man, that was a blast. In the mean time I'm just gonna be playin' Halo 2 and Ghost Recon 2 on Xbox LIVE. If anybody ever wants to play, just send me a friend request, my gamertag is Frasbee. Go figure.

I remember atari, but vaguely. My cousins had it and we played some spaceship shooting game. That's all I remember. I do remember NES very well though. I played it again today and I remember all the secret rewards and things in Mario 3.

remember it? I hooked it up last weekend and played some of my old games, river raid, defender, combat, football, pitfall, donkey kong, it was really fun but strange, I got bored with the games faster, and switched them out a lot but I will do it again later.

Ah the old atari, I remember having numerous aeroplane games on that!

As for the nintendo's and sega megadrive, I still have them! I usually play them when my cousins round as I havent got a playstation or anything like that! I can't afford the up-to-date systems as all my money is being spent on pilot training.

My favourite games on the sega megadrive have got to be Streets of rage, road rash and EA Hockey. On the nintendo I love playing Mario Kart!

I had a commadore 64 when I was younger, and my uncle had an Amiga!
