as to engagement rings, do you care about the size?
I think the size is not an issue, as long as it fits your finger, right? But my bf don't think so.
The other day, I ordered this [URL="http://giftmadesimple.com/product/personalized-gift-ideas/43730/?rid=56402610"]engagement ring[/URL], Who knows, she said it not big enough. And she even implied the size is sort of matters.. If I don't get a good ring- then what does that say for the rest of the relationship or marriage... It predicts bad things!

Yes but that still doesn't bear any correlation between ring size (or quality) and successfulness of the marriage.

I think you should tell her that if she needs a bigger stone, you can't marry her for a few years, when you can afford something bigger. Do NOT go into debt over this. It's a terrible way to start a marriage.

My guy went into debt for mine. That said he has an easy payment plan that he has no problem paying off.

Size is *nice* but I'd agree with Fras it has absolutely no correlation on how successful your marriage is. If that were true, how the hell are celebs always getting divorced? Their rocks are bloody huge!
