    best way to ask a girl to an activity?

    like the subject says. We're great friends. I just want to know the best way to ask her to go somewhere with. nothing romantic to start out with. we're sophomores in hs

    well, maybe you could ask her to the movies. You can suggest the idea that you can either go with friends, or just you two..whatever she prefers. If she chooses to go with other people, don't worry, she may just feel comfortable going with others for now.

    Seriously.... it works...
    - That or "Are you busy this weekend? My parents are getting divorced, and I really want to get out of the house from all the yelling and screaming..."

    I'd try option one first, but if two floats your boat, more power to you...
