Besides, it's a dirty little secret, but women don't really drool over hot men the way men drool over hot women. If you want a girlfriend, focus on these things: 1) Being hygienic. Ya don't have to be Brad Pitt, but you damn well better be clean. 2) Sense of humor. Being able to make a girl laugh is invaluable. 3) Be a good conversationalist. This means being able to listen, but also being able to talk about yourself in an interesting, not self-involved way.

Lastly, and you could say this is a common theme to all of them: Be good with your tongue. If you don't know what I mean... find out what I mean.

Not saying a girl is gonna drop into your lap tomorrow, but if you are calm, comfortable, and open to possibilities (AKA you're willing to give a girl a chance, even if she's not a leggy big tited blond) you'll do fine.

Hair, clothes, glasses.

Get some more round or oval, gold or silver framed glasses. Smaller.

Get a closer, more maintained haircut.

Don't wear any shirt with a pocket in front especially if you're sticking a pen in it. And no very bleh looking striped shirts, no plaid, etc.

My honest opinion is that you look somewhat feminine (I'm not saying gay at all!!)..

you need to find a haircut that is gonna toughen you up a bit, shorter...the curly locks are way too girly or they make you look like a teenage young boy...excellent advice from GratedW...your current glasses don't do anything for you...again something more sophisticated...smaller...with thiner layers..I'd bring along a female friend to pick some new ones at the shop...and also you need to go for a less formal look...go to fashion shops and don't be shy...ask advice...

if you have a male friend who is popular with girls ask him to tag along and do some clothes shopping with you..

But no, you are not ugly, but you are not making the most of what you have...

In addition to the other advice given, get some sun. I'm not saying that you should tan, but in that photo (maybe it's the lighting) you have the complexion of someone who says inside all day. Kind of a pasty, gray hue of sadness. Also some teeth whitening would serve to freshen you up a lot. Again, maybe it's just the lighting.

You've got the nerdy thing going for you, a lot of chicks dig that look. But you have to make it more sexy nerdy, instead of blah nerdy. Do it up!
