Paying for dates?

That's more of a first date thing. After we've been out a few times I don't expect her to keep up the show. If on the first date you don't offer to pay half or at least give me a heartfelt thanks I assume you really aren't that interested.

I have never in my entire life heard any female complain that a man opened her door or offered to pay for a meal. I think that all is just a popular myth perpetuated by men who want to cling to misogyny or bitterness for some reason.... If women are complaining about a man offering to pay for a meal, it has always been my experience that the complaint is the male expecting sex in return.

I have seen it. It may not be common, but it does happen.

Though I'm sure you're referring to dislike/mistrusting women in the dating game, I'm pretty sure you also have a general dislike and mistrust of men as well, which is perhaps even greater than that of women. There's a little misanthropist in every single one of us.

I wouldn't mind accepting feminism if it weren't so biased and narrowminded. Start calling it egalitarianism and don't focus so much on women. Just because you have tits, wear a bra, and give birth to babies doesn't make you special.

And I only conceded that I am biased, so while I may have a higher intolerance of how feminism causes some imbalances (in my opinion), I still have my beefs.

I will say this though, I do -not- have a problem with equal, and fair rights.
I -do- have a problem with how -some- women abuse it.

And since I'm not getting laid, I'm going to be more testy towards women in general.

Here's something new that happened to me - I took a girl out for Chinese, and at the close of our date, I told her I'd pay. She reached for her purse and said "I'll get the tip."
That was pretty cool. I'm usually the one who does the inviting so that's why I pay. She buys me drinks when we go out, though. If it's something she invites me to, I assume she's buying. I always have some money in my pocket in any case.

i know guys raelly like it when girls offer to pay, or at least help. that's one thing my BF liked about me from the get-go. mind you, he's seen his fair share of life-sucking, financial leeches.

I think girls should let guys pay when they are dating,especially in the early stage. This tests a guy if he is responsible. If he even doesnt want to pay a dinner bill for you, how do you expect him to take the responsiblity of other things. I know this is old fashion, but it is valuable.
