So I've been seeing more and more articles popping up about 'designer vaginas', things like vagioplasty and labiaplasty. I am not thinking about doing it, but I am curious about public opinion.

Personally, I think it's stupid unless you have a really valid reason for getting it done. I mean, if the woman has had to suffer through female circumcision or something then by all means, let her get her private parts restored! I think likewise about women whose labias might be way too large or something. If you want to get a labiaplasty, go ahead!

I could see if it served a purpose like increased sensation or decreasing of pain, but to do it just for looks is stupid.

From what I've read people do this for several reasons. One being after kids, which I'm curious about because I've had a child and everything just kind of went back to normal. I think because my baby wasn't huge and she spend very little time in the birth canal with my hardcore pushing. I've heard some women have big problems after childbirth though, but I think it's when you have many children. Originally Posted by xxazurexx

I also hear of people doing it because they are self conscious. This would bother me if young women are doing it that are under say 25, because in reality a lot of young women worry needlessly about these things.

You must not have been subjected to especially ugly vaginas. I've seen photos of women whose labias looked like extremely large and floppy bacon strips, and they were gross enough that I wouldn't allow anyone to look if that were me.
