@ nerdy_guy- i have pretty bad knee problems so i don't ever exercise really. but would swimming do the same kind of thing?
Swimming is aerobic, Similar to jogging. About you knee problem, Try doing squats, start off with a knee support, gradually increase weight, after some time, try taking it off. I read a testimony before about a guy. He tore off his knee in a sporting accident, then he started to do squats, after a while, the knee pain went away. I myself had a meniscus problem. When I started squatting, my knees would constantly snap. I started out with a 20kg weight(Standard olympic bar), 10 weeks after, I'm squatting close to 100kgs.

It would be hard for me to tell you not to listen to a doctor(I'm saying this 'cause I'm pretty sure your doctor would tell you not to do this), but personally, I don't always listen to them and I've fared quite well.

Putting more weight is actually not that hard. Just start eating more self indulgent things you've been avoiding, cakes, fatty youghurt, curries, stuff with bread and you'll be putting on kilos in no time. Just don't get addicted to that.

Kitty, I hope you gain some weight.

I used to having an eating disorder 2 years ago when I wanted to be thin because I was chunky as a kid. I became very depressed because I wasn't getting proper nutrition. I was basically starving myself to death. I had to have an intervention. I was 5'8'' and I weighed 130 lbs. Now I am 5'8'' at 165 lbs and I feel better about myself. I realized that it is better to look like you're not starving.
I will do my best to reply with an educated, humble and honest answer. Ultimately, it is up to you whether you want to listen to my advice or ignore it completely. Sometimes, my advice may be wrong; occasionally, it will be right. Regardless, I want to do my best to give people answers they are seeking.

so do i. 3 years ago, 2 of my friends [not very very close friends] died of eating disorder-related problems.
i've dieted a LOT in the past and i'm getting pretty worried cos i'm yet again starting to hate the 'full' feeling. you'll understand what i mean, Raze.

Hi Kitty, I wonder if you can get back in touch with your desires - knowing when you are hungry and what food you want. This way you will find what foods are good for you and you'll feel healthy. Worrying about looks can lead to being unhealthy.
