Why did she barely give me any signs even before I did this?

My crush normally shows me signs such as:looking at me when I'm not looking at her (sometimes while giggling), mimicking me, asking people she knows questions about me, showing concern for me if she thinks I’m in trouble, her friends act differently around me, sometimes she blushes around me, etc.

However, recently, she barely showed me anything at all. This started to occur before I tried to get her to do something (non-sexual) that would eventually get us into a relationship. I was going to have her read something that was going to lead into me giving her a ring. She refused to go along with it (although it didn't seem like she knew what I was trying to do). All she did was: look at me (which seemed like more of a coincidence then anything), talk about how I got out of my chair the same time her brother did, she wanted to sit across from me at the dinner table, but her mom took her seat and she said good night to me (which wasn’t solely directed at me, but my parents as well). Funny thing is though, she showed a few of those “signs” after I attempted this. However, I saw her again with her mom at a flea market, and she didn't give me any signs at all. She wouldn't even look in my direction (she looked everywhere but in the direction that I was standing).

So, is she losing or has already lost interest in me or could it mean she was just feeling too shy? After all she is a shy girl.

Perhaps she got bored and lost interest and because you are too slow at making moves.

ahh...you probably caught her off guard, and she didn't know how to react..
maybe she is shy... maybe that wasn't what she expected...
maybe you were too slow. us women are confusing <3 hahaha
